These Royals will ruin you…
This conclusion has been HIGHLY anticipated! The two books leading up to this have had several twist and turns, leaving the readers wanting more! I devoured Paper Princess and Broken Prince within hours! I fell in love with these characters and their twisted story.
With that being said...this book Twisted Palace was not like the other two books! It felt rushed and full of fluff. There was very little character development. I felt like the last maybe five chapters could have been added to Broken Prince and it would have wrapped this series up nicely.
This book seemed to repeat its self.
- Reed is going to jail. - Ella we need to do something to figure out who the true killer is. - Ella and Reed make out. REPEAT.
Then every once in a while Steve would be mentioned. No one seems really interested in how he survived, not even his daughter. Callum is around a lot more in this book, but we don't learn anything new about him. The Royal brothers, Easton, Gideon, Sebastian, and Sawyer are just used as filler and background noise. They don't contribute anything to the storyline.
There are a few things I did enjoy from this book. Wade and Val were a fun addition to the story. How Jordan's character added a touch of insight to the story. She helped Ella and a bond was sort of created between the frenemies.
There were just too many unanswered questions still remaining. Plus the ending seemed phoned-in. Too convenient. How were the hard questions never asked?!?!?! Not my favorite from Erin Watt, but I'm looking forward the next book! Awe... Easton...be still my heart!
